That  was our second meeting of Comenius Project “Blue sky green leaf”. I was  the youngest member of Bulgarian group. I have never been to Greece before. I was  uneasy but I met hospitable, warm-hearted  people. I saw many interesting places- The Acropolis, the Poseidon Temple, Athens Marathon starting  point, the Shadow Theatre. I really liked them. This project gave me opportunity to improve my English, to make new friends and to learn many things about Greek culture and history. I will never forget this week. I would like to say” Thank you, Greek students and teachers.”

Greece is a very beautiful and green country. We visited Peiramatiko Gymnasio Anavryton –the school had interesting building and around it there was a park where we planted our project trees.

Our Greek partners organized a welcome game and we could know each other.  After that they and their parents prepared traditional dishes for us. The dishes were delicious. We had a project workshop. Each  group presented its typical cuisine. We realized that three of groups  had the same dishes-amazing.  We could see how many different animals and plants there are in our countries.

Later we had a meeting with the Mayor of Marrousi  Giórgos Patoúlis. He wanted to know about us, our project, our countries. I will keep  the memory for my visit in Greece. I’m sure one day I return in Athens.

Athens one of the most beautiful and oldest  cities in Europe. I was in Greece for the first time. These days were unbelievable. The project program was organized by our Greek partners excellently. They tried to present as many places as possible. I liked the Olympic museum, the New Acropolis Museum which was marvelous  and huge. I met new friends. So I’m assured of studying English is helpful because it gave me opportunity to communicate with other students, to explain them about my country, my town, my hobby, what I like. It is very important for young people to speak in English. I’m proud to be in the Comenius project “Blue sky green leaf” and to say I have friends from Poland, Greece and Turkey. “σας ευχαριστώ”

My stay in Greece was really amazing and unforgettable. We were there from 29th April to 4th May. Our Greek partners were very open and warm-hearted. They tried to show us  many interesting and unique places. We visited The Shadow Theatre and we were actors with the shadow figures. It was funny.  I had a chance to see the Olympic stadium and the Acropolis –the symbol of Athens, the Parthenon  temple of goddess  Athena. I could feel the spirit of ancient Athens. Our guide told us about interesting facts from ancient  Greek  history. I gained my knowledge. I made friends and we changed our mails. Now we send and receive mails, chat Skype. I think they are my friends in future.

I hope I see them again.
